A Quick Talk About Story Mode In Mortal Kombat 1 (No Spoilers)


Since I had pre-ordered Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition for the PS5, I recieved my copy in the mail a day early before its release and was ecstatic to play it. I had been keeping up with any news on the game since it was first announced.

The first thing I do when I start playing a new Mortal Kombat game is play the story mode. I've always enjoyed the story of Mortal Kombat and can't ever wait to see what's going to happen next so I like to jump right into it.

Since this game takes place in a new timeline, I wasn't sure what to expect at first. I really liked the opening of the game and the events that took place early on. I immediately got hooked.

It was cool to see a different take on the characters and the story. It was also nice to see some returning characters that haven't been in a Mortal Kombat game in a while.

There are some twists in the story that keep you interested and make you wonder if certain characters are going to turn out to be a bad guy or a good guy. Partially through the game during a cutscene there was a part that caught me really off guard and all I was thinking was "holy shit!"

There are some references to other Mortal Kombat games and characters through out the story and it's full of surprises. Some scenes may require you to "Test Your Might" but you can turn that option off before starting story mode.

I loved the gameplay and the cutscenes. Story mode takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete. I beat it in 2 nights because I unfortunately didn't have enough time to do a full playthrough in 1 night.

Overall the game looks amazing and has great character designs. I will probably do another playthrough on a harder difficulty after I play some of the other modes. If your into Mortal Kombat lore I think you will really enjoy the story in this game.

It made a record breaking $211 million on opening weekend at the box office and still continued to break records throughout the following weeks. This movie is full of cameos, easter eggs, and references to the comic's that fans will love to see. It also pays homage to some of the older Marvel movies. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman knocked it out of the park. It's almost like they were born to play these characters and it's great to finally see them team up. Alien: Romulus Quick Review (No Spoilers)

Alien: Romulus became a hit at the box office and as of now it has made over $200 million globally and will mostly likely continue to keep doing well. It is a great movie to see in the theater. I had heard really good thing's about it before seeing it but I still went into the movie without setting my expectations too high. I loved it and think it is the best Alien movie to come out since Aliens. The movie has so many tense and unexpected moments that will keep you in suspense. Also several claustrophobic moments. It has that dark and creepy atmosphere to it. I was taken by surprise in a lot of scenes in this movie. They were able to try many new thing's and threw in some easter eggs and throwback references that I think fans of the franchise will love. My Thoughts On The Mortal Kombat 2021 Movie

I've been a huge long-time fan of the Mortal Kombat franchise since I was just a little kid and the original was released in arcades back in 1992. That being said, I really didn't mind the Mortal Kombat 2021 movie even though it has been criticized by many. Sure there are some thing's in it that I didn't like. For example I didn't like how quickly Goro was taken out by the new character Cole Young or how I thought some character's didn't get enough screen time. I didn't let that ruin the whole movie for me though. Some people think that it was nothing like the games but in my opinion I think that if it was exactly like the games then we would already know what to expect and it wouldn't be very interesting because we've already seen it in the games.
